mommy moments

Youthful passes by so fast, now I have four grown up kids & 'though they turned into adolescents ,my fine lady's still love to play & pretend, pretending like she's playing on the top of her sisters palm. And pretending is what exactly the theme for this week here in Mommy Moments.

In here my youngest happened to play & pretend that she's a raven.

Our cute raven's dancing!Too brag!!

Our raven's can even sing!

And in here since the drama presentation was about Christmas my youngest pretended that she's one of the sheep in the manger when Jesus was born.

My second child pretended that she was a cute darling Santa.Too brag!

And my 3rd child in here (the one @ the right side) pretend that she was a swallow!

Now,Let's Pretend this week here in MommyMoments!

Today's theme here in Girl's Talk is about our fave drinks.'m a non-alcoholic drinker & I do enjoy a drink every now and then and 'though I usually just stick to one drink, there are others I enjoy as well. Here we go...

A&W root beer. It's a non-alcoholic drink & I do love this drink ever since when I was still in my high school. The first time I brought hubby in A&W resto in Makati,we ordered this A & W root beer w/ float.I love the taste of this drink, the taste was very similar to SARSI Cola.I always have this atleast one can in my car when during I have a long drive down the city.

Apple Tea one of my fave drink ,'though I love Lemon Tea the most,I changed into apple tea just a week ago.I love this drink & it's very nice.I usually have this during office hour or after lunch.

And last but not least,I love cocoa.I often drink it specially in the morning. So I add cocoa to milk and drink. Milks contain a lot of calcium and it is good for health, so I almost drink it for almost everyday.Kaya naman ang laki laki ko na...sigh...

So If you could have any drink in the world, what would you be drinking?Just visit then in Nikos Girls Talk here in Girls Rule every Thursday!Happy girly time girls!

Couple's Corner#4:Marriage Proposal

Why is it that as women, we immediately go dreamy eyed when we talk about marriage proposals? This is what I felt the moment I read the theme for today here in Couple's Corner.

Since the start on our relationship was very complicated, still no one could ever stopped the feelings we both have.Things are never so simple.I just learned that he came from a Samurai- ranked family . A Samurai, with high ideals of what was expected of a Samurai's family. His fathers hopes were concentrated in him until he refused to marry the girl for whom he was destined after the death of his first wife due to cancer & the most difficult part for them was they never got the chance to have even one sibling & instead of marrying the girl that his family choose for him,he chose me.And he was so stuborn & was firm on his decission.

Actually I din't know it's coming - not a clue, not a hint. We've never even discussed it.And who on earth would have thought that this dream of mine would take off so fast? I know that I’ve wanted this for so long and it’s just crazy that it’s all happening before my very eyes!!
And after a year of being friends & lovers & several visits in P.I,t'was in May 1990 when he gave me a ring telling me that he'll going to visit me at exactly during my b-day.He told me that he would bring a very important question for me.So to make my story short. He just brought that question w/c made it a moment we'll both remember forever!

"Will you marry me?" Those four little words may well be the most important question he'll ever ask. The rest of my life flows from the answer to that question. I was hessitant at first & felt ackward because at the back of my head t'will joins two families, begins a new one, and determines everything...what you'll eat for dinner; where you'll spend your holidays; what your children will be like?In other words, this question and the way it is asked is a BIG DEAL...too big to treat casually.Added here that we have different nationalities & beliefs.

And 'though I'd dreamt this for so long & after hearing those words from him, I was blanked for a couple of days. I thought to myself this is it! I have to decide, a very firm decission that need to think over & over again.Marrying a Japanese national is not a joke,it's like 'm going into a trip & going to buy a one way ticket of no turning back. But then despite of all the worries I had, still I gave him a very firm answer "Yes"!But before I gave my firm answer to him I told him that I had some thoughts in mind that needin' a very honest answer from him.Since we've been officialy became sweethearts,he never showed generosity towards me,he just continued pretending to be a poor guy .I asked him why he needs to pretend, then he told me that he was just testing me ,he was been fooled before from whom he thought loved him & not after his wealth. He told me that he found honesty & truth in me that really made him fallin' in to me that despite of after realizing the truth I never showed interest on his wealth.I thought to myself "gawin ba kong tulya!"Subukan daw!The nerve! But then I still gave him my firm "YES".And the continuation on this story will be on next Wednesday's MEME here on Rodliz's Nest of Couple's Corner.

I absolutely love this movie and recommend it heartily. This is a must to see kind of movie that can't help but uplift you as well. Just keep your kleenex handy!
A beautiful, romantic, heartwarming story that will sure to leave you crying at the end.

Plots of the story:
Landon finds himself falling in love with this outwardly plain girl(Shane West) who possesses a passion for life he never imagined possible. But it isn’t easy. For reasons of her own, Jamie does everything she can to run away from romance until it becomes impossible to deny.

Head over to Kikamz of Just About Anything for more dramatic movie here in Tuesday Couch potatoes.
